Spelling Week 2
Graduation Day

I woke up in the morning filled with happiness.  I was happy because it was graduation day.  I

worked very hard to get to this point and in my eyes I was a champion.  I was asked to speak in

front of the audience that was attending the ceremony.  This was a great gesture that was

given to me by my teacher.  At first I was nervous but became more comfortable as the days

went by.  I went downstairs and had my favorite bowl of  cereal and watched some sportsnet. I

sat there and could not believe that the day was finally here and I was finished grade school.

Where did all the years go?

My mother was very happy for me and wanted to help me write some creative words for my

speech.  She has always been helpful and provided me with lots of encouragement throughout

my life.  She was very proud of me when I received honorable mentions in math.  This was my

best subject and it was also my largest improvement in marks.  I wrote my speech and headed

out the door.  I looked down at my dog and asked him for forgiveness as I would not be able to

play with him because it was graduation day.
